A Guide to Georgia World Congress and Exhibition Centre

Atlanta’s major centre, the Georgia World Congress and Exhibition Centre is the fourth largest in the US and is the United States’ first state owned Convention Centre. A centre that has witnessed all kinds of events ranging from the world’s finest conventions to all kinds of sporting events, the Georgia Centre was the chosen venue for the 41st Miss World Pageant in 1991.

Located in the heart of Atlanta’s business centre, the Georgia World Congress and Exhibition Centre has an experience of over twenty years in its field and has built a reputation for itself with its world-class facilities and exceptional customer service. Opened in 1976, this structure has undergone expansions in 1985, 1992 and 2002 and includes three adjacent buildings which were added to its campus during the expansions.
